Chris Iannetta
Chris Iannetta, a native of North Providence, RI, was a four-year catcher at St. Raphael Academy.  He earned all-state honors on three occasions and graduated from the University of North Carolina.  He was selected by Baseball America as the best defensive catcher in the California League and the 13th-best prospect following the 2004 season.  In 2005, he split the year between Modesto (High-A) and Tulsa (AA).  After splitting the next season with Tulsa and Colorado Springs, Chris had his contract purchased by the Rockies in late August of 2006 and started 20 of the club's final 33 games.  In 2007, Chris helped the Rockies make their first World Series appearance in the club's history.  He was also a member of the Team USA, playing alongside Derek Jeter, Chipper Jones, Brian McCann to name a few.  He is currently the starting catching for the Rockies.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our staff, we have seen many of our players further their baseball careers at the collegiate and professional levels.  We would like to acknowledge these players and congratulate them for their tireless effort and work ethic that has allowed them to achieve success throughout their careers.
Jeff Beliveau
Jeff is a native of Johnston, RI, and graduated from Bishop Hendricken in 2005 where he also named Gatorade Player of the year and MVP of the RI State Championship.  Started collegiate career at College of Charleston.  In 2006 he posted a 6-4 record and a 3.40 ERA as a freshman.  In 2007 he went 3-2 with a 4.56 ERA as well as fanning 74 in 73 INN.  In 2008 he transferred to Florida Atlantic University, emerging as the ace of the FAU pitching staff by season's end.  He led the team in strikeouts (78) and innings pitched (76 2/3).  He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 18th round of 2008 MLB Draft.  Finished 2010 season in AA with Daytona Cubs with a 4-2 record in 46 games, posting a 2.66 ERA, 64 innings pitched while fanning 97.
Jimmy Gillheeney
Jimmy is a native of Johnston, RI, and graduated from Bishop Hendricken in 2006 when he was also named a High School All American.  He played his collegiate baseball at North Carolina State.  he posted a 12-8 career record with 11 saves and a 4.23 ERA in three years at NC State.  He struck out 163 opponents and walked 69 in 178 1/3 innings.  He was named First Team All ACC in 2008 and Second Team All ACC in 2009.  He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 8th Round of the 2009 MLB Draft.  He finished the 2010 season with the Jackson Generals (AA) of the Southern League, where he went 10-11 with a 3.55 ERA, starting 28 games with 152 innings pitched and 140 strike outs.
